Born in Montreal, Canada, Vivi Harder attended summer programs at Parson's School of Design and subsequently graduated with a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design.
After living in New York City, New Mexico, Paris and the Kootenay Mountains of British Columbia, she recently moved to Vancouver, Canada, where she continues to create her artwork.
She has exhibited her paintings in Canada, the USA and Europe.
